Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Black stone. The cross-section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. The surface is smooth on the front of the blade, wit bruising on the butt and back. There are several flake scars. The butt is differentiated from the blade by the difference in texture and a slight ridge on the front. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. There is a large piece broken off the proper left of the blade and cutting edge.
