Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is bruised and flaked. There is a straight shoulder on the front of the blade, and a reduction in the stone of the butt on the front. The sides of the butt taper in towards the poll. The bevel is demarcated by a line of flake scar. The cutting edge is asymmetrical, curved and chipped.
