Adze, Toki

Broken adze (butt remaining). Pounamu. Light green and silver. Cross-section is oval. Surface is mostly bruised, one ground area on back of butt towards poll, and some flaking on proper right side of back. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, butt widens indicating a shoulder just before break. Bevel and cutting edge not present. "Moeraki?" written on back.
