Adze, Toki
Roughout of side hafted adze. Dark grey and brown stone. Irregular quadrangular cross-section. The surface is bruised and flaked. There is a reduction in the sides of the stone half way up the blade. There is a slope on one side of the blade towards the cutting edge which could indicate a bevel. The cutting edge is irregular and blunt.
