Complete adze. Stone. Black and dark grey. Cross-section is oval. Surface of back is mostly ground, with some bruising. Surface of front mostly bruised. Flaking on poll. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides are slightly reduced, and taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Mataura Valley written on front.
