Complete adze. Basalt. Black. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced, and taper towards poll. Depression in stone on front of butt. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Pounawea Is written on back.
