Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Pounamu. Mid-green. Cross-section of blade is rectangular. Cross-section of butt is oval. Surface of front and back blade is ground, surfaces of sides and butt are bruised and flaked. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced. Bevel demarcated by a ridge. cutting edge is sharp and curved. Area between ridge and poll on back is concave.
