Broken adze (butt and upper blade remaining - large fragment missing from proper right back butt, another fragment missing from proper right poll).Stone. Black. Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of butt is oval. Surfaces of upper blade ground, bruised on butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced to form shoulder. Bevel and cutting edge not present. Otago Central written on back.
