Chisel, Whao
Complete chisel. Pounamu. Light green. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground, except on proper right side of butt which is bruised. Sawing mark down proper left side. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, proper right side tapers towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is blunt and curved, chipped on proper right side. Otago Central written on front.
