Adze, Toki
Complete adze (possibly broken around butt). Pounamu. Dark green, mid green. Surface is ground, sawing marks down proper right and proper left sides. Shallow notches on front surface, two at poll end running lengthwise, and one running width-wise roughly 3cm below those. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll, butt possibly broken off. Bevel is demarcated by a line, shallow concave area mid-bevel. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Otago Central written on front.
