Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Pounamu. Light green, mid blue, light grey. Cross-section of blade is triangular, with apex to back, cross-section of butt is oval. Surface of blade is ground, large flake scar on proper left side. Bruising on sides of butt. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by 2 lines, that come to a point at chin. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, large chip on proper right side. Otago Central written on front.
