Complete roughout. Pounamu. Mid grey, light green, light brown, cream. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is partially ground, particularly on back of butt and on proper right side of front. Rest of adze is flaked and bruised. Sawing mark down proper right side. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel and cutting edge unfinished. Near Mouth of Mataura written on front.
