Stone, Worked, Chisel, Whao
Incomplete pounamu chisel. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground, with flaking on the proper left and right corners of the cutting edge. There are significant sawing marks down the centre of both the front and back. There is minor delineation between the butt and blade, with the sides tapering towards the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and blunt.
