Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Black stone. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground. No differentiation between butt and blade; sides slightly taper toward poll. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is sharp and straight. "Akaroa" inscription on proper left side and back.
