Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section is oval. Surface of front is mostly ground, with some bruising on front. Mostly bruised on back. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, fragment of butt missing from proper right side. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, heavily chipped. Small fragment missing from proper left side cutting edge. Papatowai written on front and back.
