Gouge, Whao

Complete pounamu gouge. Cross-section is circular. The surface is ground, with a groove along the top of the gouge. The sides taper slightly to the proximal end. The bevel is demarcated by two lines that meet in a point, the bevel is concave. The cutting edge is sharp and curved.
