Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Pounamu. Dark green, light green. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground, bruising on proper right of lower blade and poll. Sawing mark down proper right. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is straight and sharp, chipped. "Takahanga Domain, Kaikoura" written on front and back.
