Complete adze. Basalt. Dark grey, mid grey. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground on front, mostly bruised on back, some flaking on sides. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. Tahakopa written on front.
