Adze, Toki
Incomplete adze, top of the butt missing. Dark brown stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is bruised on the back and sides, flaked on the front and where the poll has broken off. The front of the adze is relatively flat, the back is convex from butt to cutting edge. There is a slight reduction in both sides of the butt. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and sharp with a chip on the proper left.
