Adze, Toki
Broken adze (blade and lower butt remaining). Stone. Black. Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of butt is semi-circular, back flattened. Surface is bruised, ground on cutting edge. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front heavily reduced forming large shoulder. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and straight, concave. Hedgehope Southland written on front.
