Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Light grey stone. Oval cross-section. The surface is mostly bruised with some flake scars and ground areas on the bevel and the front of the blade. The surface of the blade changes from ground to bruised on the front proper left at the butt, and the proper right is flaked. The bevel is demarcated by lines of bruising. The cutting edge is curved and irregular.
