Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Green. Cross-section of blade is rectangular, slightly rounded, cross-section of butt is oval. Surface is ground. Major differentiation between butt and blade, demarcated by a ridge, sides reduced after ridge. Large fragment missing from front of butt. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, chipped. Hedgehope Southland written on front.
