Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Grey stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is mostly bruised with some ground patches. There is a large flake scar on the proper left front of the butt. There is a curved shoulder on the front of the blade and a reduction in the front and sides of the butt. The bevel is smooth, concave and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is chipped.
