Chisel, Whao

Complete chisel. Pounamu. Light green. Cross-section is assymetrical (almost rectangular, sawing marks stick out). Surface is ground, area of bruising between butt and blade on back. Sawing marks visible on proper left and proper right side. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll, front of butt tapers down towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Otago? written on front.
