Gouge, Whao
Complete pounamu gouge. The cross section is circular. The surface is ground with bruising on the bevel. Both ends of the blade are sharpened to cutting edges. One cutting edge is straight and blunt, the other is bevelled, curved and sharp. The bevel is demarcated by a straight line.
