Complete adze. Black stone. Surface is bruised and ground. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with the back narrower than the front. No differentiation between butt and blade; sides taper toward the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "McClennan River. Taukupu Bay" inscription.
