Broken adze, blade remaining. Dark grey stone. Surface is ground and bruised. Cross-section is rectangular. Butt is not present. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp, with a large flake missing from the proper right side. "McClennan River. Taukupu Bay." inscription on front.
