Stone, Worked, He Kura

Piece of worked pounamu. Light green and light blue colour. West Coast source. Surface is ground and flaked. One edge appears to be the oblique cutting edge of an adze or chisel, with a bevel on one side demarcated by a line. One side edge is straight with a sawing mark and a large notch near the centre. At this notch, there is a deep diagonal reduction, tapering toward the cutting edge. The opposite side edge has a slight projection and a shallow notch. One side is broken and flaked, the other side has two lines/ridges running lengthwise.
