Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Dark brown stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is mostly ground on the blade and bruised on the butt. There is major distinction between the butt and the blade, with rounded shoulders on each side on the front and a reduction in the stone on the sides. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is sharp and slightly curved.
