Chisel, Whao
Complete chisel. Pounamu. Mid green. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Poll end of butt has been sharpened to a point, with notches cut into sides. Both sides of blade has bevels, though bevel on back has a concave depression leading to cutting edge. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Waikawa written on proper left.
