Adze, Toki
Complete adze. The cross section is rectangular. The surface of the blade is ground, the front and sides of the butt are bruised and the back of the butt is flaked. There is minor differentiation between the butt and the blade with the changing of the surface but the sides also taper into towards the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The blade is curved and concave. The cutting edge is curved and sharp with some flaking along it but there is a large chip on the proper right hand side.
