Complete Rectangular cross-section at bevel, oval at butt Bruised surface with flake scars at the poll and on the back of the blade. Ground surface on bevel front and back The blade tapers in from the cutting edge towards the poll and the front of the butt is reduced slightly. The poll is rounded but with large flake scars The bevel is continuous to the blade and has a sharp symmetrical cutting edge.
