Complete adze. Basalt. Dark grey, mid grey, light grey. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface of back is ground, surface of front and sides are bruised. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Tarewai.Pt is written on back.
