Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Black stone. Lenticular cross-section. The surface is mostly ground with large flake scars. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The poll end of the adze curves slightly towards the back. The bevel is clearly demarcated by a ridge. The cutting edge is curved, sharp and chipped.
