Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Black stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is ground on the front of the blade and on the bevel, and flaked on the back and sides. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The poll is sloped and there are two roughly shaped lugs. The bevel is smooth and demarcated by an irregular ridge. The cutting edge is straight, sharp and slightly chipped.
