Adze, Toki
Large complete adze. Dark grey stone. The cross-section is quadrangular. There is bruising on the butt, sides and back of the blade,and some flake scars on every side. The bevel and the front of the blade are ground.There is major distinction between the butt and the blade, with a ridge and reduction in the stone on the front. There is a clear differentiation between the bevel and the blade, with a difference in surface and an irregular line. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.
