Adze, Toki
Complete adze. The cross section of the blade is rectangular, the cross section of the butt is plano-convex with the back flattened. The surface is predominantly ground with some flaking an bruising along the sides, and on the butt. The butt is differentiated by a reduction of the sides at the shoulder and the transition from rectangular to plano-convex cross section. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and sharp.
