Gouge, Whao
Broken pounamu gouge, lower blade remaining. The cross section is circular. The surface is ground with some flaking on the break. There are light sawing marks on the proper left. The bevel is demarcated by a curved line and a concave wearing. The cutting blade is curved and blunt.
