Flake, Adze, Toki
Broken pounamu adze, back of lower blade remaining. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground on the back. The front is flaking. There is a horizontal break towards the poll, from which flaking originates. The proper right side is ground and the proper left is flaking. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting blade is curved and blunt. The proper left half of cutting edge has broken off, leave approximately one quarter of the cutting edge intact, on the proper right.
