Pendant, He Kura
Mostly complete kawakawa pounamu/nephrite pendant. Light green and dark green chatoyant bands running diagonally length of pendant. Surface is ground and flaked. Reduced at the proximal end, with a suspension hole. One side edge is straight with a notch or flake missing at the proximal end. The other side edge is curved and has a large notch and a projection, possibly unintentional and caused by a flake breaking off. Distal end has a sharp edge similar to the cutting edge of an adze, with a bevel demarcated by a curved line on one side.
