Adze, Toki
Broken adze (butt and portion of blade remaining). Cross-section is roughly oval. Surface is ground on front blade and on back where unbroken. Surface is flaked on butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced, however, reduction amount unknown as sides of blade are broken off. Bevel and cutting edge not present, large fragment missing from back of blade portion. "Sumner." written on front.
