Chisel, Whao
Complete pounamu chisel. The cross section is trapezoidal with back narrower than font. The surface is ground, with bruising at the poll and on the proper left. The blade has a sawing mark down the length of the front. The proper left back has sawing marks. The bevel is demarcated by a change in surface working. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.
