Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Black stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is mostly ground with flake scars on the sides and the front of the butt. The butt is differentiated from the blade by the change in surface and an irregular flaked line. The bevel is roughly flaked and demarcated by an irregular line. The cutting edge is asymmetrical and sharp.
