Chisel, Whao
Complete pounamu chisel. The cross section is trapezoidal with the front narrower than the back. The surface is ground with flaking at the poll. There is bruising on the back. Sawing marks are evident on the proper left. The bevel is demarked by a straight line. The cutting edge is straight and chipped on both the proper right and proper left.
