Adze, Toki

Broken adze (blade remaining). Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Surface is ground on front and back, flaked on sides. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is blunt and curved, very chipped or possibly unfinished. "Shag River" written on back.
