Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is oval at butt, becoming triangular at blade with apex to front. Surface of lower blade is mostly ground with some flaking, becoming more heavily flaked and bruised on upper blade and butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, back reduced, sides of butt widen towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, very narrow and lightly chipped. "Shag River" written on proper left side.
