Adze, Toki
Broken adze (lower blade remaining). Stone. Mid grey. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface of front and bevel are ground, bruising on sides and back of blade. Butt not present, but sides start to taper before break. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved with light chipping. "Shag River" written on front.
