Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Pounamu. Dark green, light green. Cross-section is oval at poll, becoming rectangular towards blade. Surface is ground, with bruising on sides. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced, sides taper towards poll. Proper right side reduces with front, proper left side reduces further up butt. Small groove runs across front on mid butt, from proper left to proper right. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Large fragment missing from proper left back.
