Chisel, Whao

Broken pounamu chisel, lower blade remaining. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground with flaking on the proper left side and along the cutting edge. The diagonal break has flaking originating from it as well. The blade is bevelled on both sides. The front bevel is demarcated by a curved line. The back bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is chipped.
