Complete adze. Dark green pounamu. Cross-section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. Surface is ground with bruising around the front and sides of the butt. Sawing marks on proper right side. Major reduction on the sides of the butt, particularly the proper left side, forming shoulders and tapered toward the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp. "Waikouaiti" inscription.
